Youth Leadership Development

Rooted in the Zulu philosophy and practice of Ubuntu, IMPACT: YLD works in community to foster Pipelines of Black Student Success by empowering and amplifying the youth voice to drive lifelong successful outcomes for our participants, families, and communities.

WE EXIST TO

Develop young leaders who actualize and express themselves in crucial spaces, ensuring access, equity, and inclusion so that the necessary steps are taken to bend the arc of time toward successful outcomes that create opportunities and eliminate the barriers to Black Student Success. Fostering A Generation of Leaders for Collective Success!

BY PROVIDING

Essential services designed to nurture growth and resilience. From mentoring and life skills workshops to career exploration and mental health support, we provide a comprehensive framework for empowering young individuals to thrive and succeed. Through these initiatives, we aim to equip the next generation with the tools and resources they need to navigate challenges, pursue their aspirations, and contribute positively to society.

OUR COHORTS

Our programming emphasizes leadership development by nurturing eager minds that are prepared and developed to take active roles within their schools and communities contributing a meaningful and lasting impact. Through civic engagement, students develop a sense of social responsibility and empathy crucial for collective success which aligns with our Unbuntu program philosophy.
