While she has love and care for all children; she is sincerely dedicated to empowering our Black youth because she understands the inherit struggles that they are faced with day to day. She is grounded in the notion that if they see the good in themselves, they will be successful in whatever they choose to do.

She freely goes out of her way to make sure that children respect and are connected to their community by helping them to always see the good in themselves and others while also giving back to the community in word and deed. She often teaches students positive affirmations and uplifting self talk to keep them inspired.
